Each module has a total area of 31.3 square meters across two levels, an adult level with kitchen, living room, bathroom and work area, and a children's level with two sleeping and working spaces and a small play area. The basement provides storage for each apartment along with parking and charging points for bicycles and electric scooters, and the roof can be developed as shared recreation and sports space.
3D printing was chosen for speed: a module can be printed in days rather than weeks, which matters when housing needs to be restored as quickly as possible. Using ready-mix concrete for walls and partitions also reduces material use and removes the need for additional finishing, addressing both the urgency of reconstruction and the shortage of labor caused by the migration crisis.
